Born in the 80s, a newly wed couple faces the life of marriage. They witness the changes of family members and change in lifestyle. This drama explores how this couple learns to adapt to their new life.
City girl, Gu Xiao Ying, marries Phoenix guy (born poor but social status is rather high), Guan Tong. After marriage, Xiao Ying notices a lot of differences between the two such as her in-laws living habits in the village, their thinking patterns, even Guan Tong's government job and habits.
