Plot Synopsis by DramaWiki Staff ©

There is a small old-fashioned shop called ‘Fuji Family’ at the foot of Mt Fuji that is a convenience store in name only. It is run by three sisters who are known for their beauty. Dependable Oguni Takako (Yakushimaru Hiroko) is the eldest sister, free-spirited Nasumi (Koizumi Kyoko), the second sister, is the complete opposite of Takako in both personality and lifestyle, and tactful Tsukimi (Mimura) is the youngest sister. Although Nasumi lived and got married in Tokyo, she abruptly came back with her husband Kinoshita Hideo (Yoshioka Hidetaka), but died suddenly of illness eight years ago. Takako finally wed Haruta Masao (Takahashi Katsumi), with whom she has had an enduring but difficult relationship, this year. The newlyweds now live in an apartment nearby but Takako constantly comes to ‘Fuji Family’. Hideo had a shotgun marriage with Aiko (Naka Riisa) but he still lives with the Ogunis and runs the shop. A new part-timer Purio (Higashide Masahiro), whose actual name is Kuromatsu Heizo, has joined ‘Fuji Family’. And Nasumi appears as a ghost to grandaunt Shoko (Katagiri Hairi) who is the only one who can see her. One day towards the end of the year, Takako sees a magazine article about the famous soothsayer Kitty Toyama (YOU) and realises that she was her junior high school classmate. Kitty had made an outrageous prediction concerning Takako’s fate in her junior high school diary. With the addition of a new ghost Tesshin (Hada Keisuke) and Shoko’s friend Tokuzo (Kaga Takeshi), disturbance erupts in the lives of every member of the family.
