Ji Hoon, a junior in college, is a member of the baseball team. He meets Yoo Mi by chance, a Korean language and literature major. Jun Ho, a good friend, uses his wit and humor to quickly bring Ji Hoon and Yoo Mi closer together. Ji Hoon clashes with Coach Baek for his harsh training. Ji Hoon leaves the baseball team and is uncertain as to what to do when he meets a guy whose nickname is Broker. Ji Hoon rejects Broker's lures and returns to the campus and the baseball team. Ji Hoon fights Broker and his gang and wins. Broker gets his revenge by having Ji Hoon kidnapped. His gang drags Ji Hoon to a secluded place where they beat him up. Beaten up, Ji Hoon wanders the night looking for Yoo Mi.
