Labor activist Han Tae-hoon is a fugitive hiding out in a remote mining town. He takes a job as a miner under the alias Kim Ki-young. "Cafe girl" and sex worker Song Young-sook takes a liking to Kim, who treats her with much more respect than Sung-cheol, the violent boss of the mine.
