The series 'Ode To Light And Shadow In Unity' is comprised of five short stories, 'Touch The Sky'; 'My Mom, My Ping Pong'; 'My Pride; You Light Me Up'; and 'Silver Lining', which witness Hong Kong’s experiences and metamorphoses in the past quarter-century. 'You Light Me Up' begins with a power outage disrupting the daily routines of three ordinary people. To earn a living, optimistic young guy Chow Kong Hong, down-and-out female scriptwriter Lai Sheung Man and irritable Cheng Chung coincidentally become food couriers. Each of the trio has their ambition, but they find themselves in dire straits due to a power outage. While prospects are uncertain, the trio finds there is a miraculous light bulb on earth.
