A story about a blended family that resides inside a siheyuan in Beijing. Because of Grandma, the family tells a white lie that ignites a chain of events and the ups and downs that they encounter brings them closer as a family.
Meihua Handicrafts is an old shop with a hundred-year tradition. Their skills were once famous across all of Beijing, but business has waned along with changing times. Jin Man Tang who is the family's son-in-law has taken over. Relying on his eloquence, he has kept their livelihood by maintaining a relationship with old-time customers.
BR> Two years ago, Jin Man Tang's wife died in a car accident. As Grandma fell gravely ill from the loss of her daughter, the family scrambled to fulfill Grandma's wishes.
