Tora-san returns home because his sisters, Sakura, has given birth to a son. He reunions with professor Tsubouchi who taught him English when he was a student, but it is actually Natsuko, the beautiful daughter of the professor, who attracts him. Upon hearing that his mother, whom he has not met since his birth, live in Kyoto, Tora-san decides to go to see her.
