Min Se Hyung suffers a car accident while on a trip with his wife Hye Mi. As a result, he is paralyzed and unable to perform in bed. The couple tries to overcome the physical pain through their spiritual love. One day, drunk Se Hyung spends a night with a hostess. In the morning, she is discovered dead and he is falsely charged with murder. The reporter Jin Wu assigned to this case is an old college classmate who was in love with Hye Mi back in their school days. Witnessing Hye Mi's misfortune, Jin Wu feels compassion for her. Jin Wu discloses that Se Hyung is impotent therefore innocent of the murder. Though his innocence is proven, Se Hyung falls into a great feeling of defeat. Se Hyung and Hye Mi decide to separate. Resolved to get a divorce, Se Hyung goes to see Hye Mi where he witnesses Jin Wu and Hae Mi together.
