Zombies suddenly appear in the final years of the Edo period in Kyoto. Kuzuyama Gesutaro is a samurai who belongs to the Shinsengumi. The Shinsengumi is a special police force organized by the Bakufu (military government) during the final years of the Edo period. Even with Kuzuyama Gesutaro's position he lives lazily. Meanwhile, Kato Jun is a samurai who dresses up like a man.
