Eisei is a nonfiction writer searching for urban mysteries related to the train line who begins to remember a past experience with his wife. Nanten is a school student on a school trip to the city who falls in love with a train enthusiast she sees on the platform. Yoshiko is a cafe worker who delivers lunch to nearby a nearby film production who helps a Tokyo actor practice his Kyoto dialect.
