Moon Chae-won (born November 13, 1986) is a South Korean actress who is best known as Yoo Seung Mi in Brilliant Legacy. She studied Western Painting at the Chugye University for the Arts.

She debuted in the teen drama "Mackerel Run" in 2007, but became famous as the kisaeng Jeong Hyang in The Painter of the Wind. She and costar Moon Geun Young received the Best Couple Award in the 2008 SBS Drama Awards for their portrayals. The next year, she performed as the privileged Seung Mi in Brilliant Legacy and the girl-next-door Yeo Ui Joo in Take Care of the Young Lady. In 2010, she switched agencies to Barunson Entertainment. Moon will play the lead character, Eun Chae Ryung, in It's Okay, Daddy's Girl.
