Kim Byeong Kwan, better known by his stage name Jason, is the dancer, rapper and vocalist of the boy group A.C.E. He was a JYP trainee with the stage name BK. He was a member of the group High Praise for Kpop Star 1, together with Junhoe from iKON. Jason was a part of the dance group Urban Boyz together with Kino from Pentagon.

He participated on JTBC’s survival show "Mixnine". “MIXNINE” wrapped up on January 26, 2018, revealing the top nine female and male contestants, and announced which group will make its debut. Kim Byeong Kwan was announced ranked 4 for the Male Team and was later announced the winner and part of the debut group with Woo Jin Young (Happyface Entertainment), Kim Hyo Jin (WM Entertainment), Lee Ru Bin (Liveworks Company), Choi Hyun Suk (YG Entertainment), Song Han Gyeom (Staro Entertainment), Kim Min Seok (WM Entertainment), Lee Dong Hun (Beat Interactive) and Lee Byoung Gon (YG Entertainment). The male team received a score of 8,114 and the female team received a score of 7,866. The scores were determined 20 percent by pre-broadcast online votes, 30 percent by text voting during the live show, 20 percent by pre-broadcast online preference rankings, and 30 percent by scores from the judges.
