Shin Dong Mi is a South Korean actress managed by Starhaus entertainment. She studied theater at Dankook University and made her debut as a theater actor in 1998. The following year, she started to act as a musical actor in 1999, and then she started her career as a TV actress in the drama series “Sangdo” in 2001. Later on, Shin made her big-screen debut in “Don’t Look Back” (2006). Her first leading role was in Lee Kwang-Kuk's highly acclaimed debut Romance Joe (2002).

She has since become an established star, featuring in scores of titles, including the movie “A Hard Day” (2014) and drama “Golden Time” (2012). More recently, she has appeared in drama titles such as “Avengers Social Club” (2017), “Liver or Die” (2019), and “Doctor John” (2019).

In 2014, Shin married musician and actor Heo Kyu. They have released a song together titled 'Dream of a Doll'.
