Yang Xu Wen (English name: William) is a Chinese actor born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province and graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. He officially entered showbiz in July 2014 with his participation in the costume drama "Cosmetology High". His breakthrough came in January 2017 when he won the New Star of the Year at the 2017 China TV Drama Awards for his lead role in the 2017 wuxia drama "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". In December 2018, he won the Outstanding Award at the Fifth China TV Excellent Actor Awards.

In December 2017, Yang's agency issued a statement repudiating the false rumours on Yang being involved in the death of actress Ren Jiao and clarified that he has nothing to do with the incident.
