Choi Jin Hyuk, who was originally known under the stage name "Kim Tae Ho", is a South Korean actor. He First debuted in the 2010 SBS drama, "It's Okay, Daddy's Girl", where he decided to act under the new name of "Choi Jin Hyuk." However, his breakout role came during 2013's "Gu Family Book". He also has appeared in high-profile dramas such as "The Heirs" and went on to lead roles in "Emergency Couple" and "Pride and Prejudice."
Choi went on a hiatus from acting when he enlisted for mandatory military service on March 31, 2015. He had the option to join the Seoul Police Promotional Team, the theatre unit under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, but choose to serve as an active duty soldier. He was discharged from the army after just seven months due to a knee injury.
He returned to acting in 2017 with OCN's time-traveling drama, "Tunnel."
