Hakuryu is a Japanese actor. He has appeared in more than sixty films since 1984. Hakuryu is a second-generation Korean resident of Japan (zainichi), whose real name is Jun Jung Il. He made his film debut in 1984 in Yoichi Sai's Someone Will Be Killed, but came to prominence for his performance in Takeshi Kitano's Violent Cop in 1989.
