Mei Yi Chen was born in Jincheng City, Shanxi Province on August 9, 1998, as Si Min Chen. She is an actress from Mainland China and in April 2017, she got the first place in both the performance majors of the Central Academy of Drama and the Shanghai Theater Academy, and the seventh place in the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Opera. She passed all of the examinations of the Chinese Opera, Shanghai Opera, Nortel and the Chinese Academy of Opera. With almost full scores, she won the double champions in both the Chinese and the Chinese operas. In 2019, she starred in the literary and artistic film "Sapphire" produced by Jin Ji Deok, playing Lingling.
