Yang Si, born in Wuhan of Hubei Province, is a Chinese actress and theatrical performer. At a young age of seven, she began to study dance at the Wuhan Youth Palace, and then studied performance, vocal music and dance, and guitar in the 98-level song and dance class in high school. She then progressed on to study acting, vocal music, dance and piano at the Beijing Dance Academy where she graduated. Her acting career began in 2000 with her participation in the military drama "Glorious Journey".
