Wei Kai graduated from Dalian National Academy of Arts College in 2003 and joined the army in 2004. Also a gifted and talented musical artist, after retiring from the army in 2006, he joined his music and performance to form his first band. In the same year, he participated in the Harbin Music Festival and Shenyang Music Festival.
