Habara Daisuke is a Japanese screenwriter, writer and director from Tokyo. He graduated from Nihon University College of Art . In 1992, he debuted as a screenwriter , while writing on a wide range of genres, in 2001 he launched the theatrical group Shinjuku Performing Arts Company (present · Showa entertainment building ) with Kitajima Yoshiaki, Oikawa Yuzuru and others. In 2006 he won the Japan Academy Award Excellence Screenplay Award (joint script) for the movie "Pachigi! " and the Japan Academy Prize Best Screenplay Award (co-script) for the 2007 movie "Hula Girls".
