1. "The man who does not laugh" (笑わぬ男) - directed by Tsukasa Kishimoto. Story of a man and his bedridden wife who always asks him to pat her legs.

2. "Thank you" (有難う) - directed by Nobuyuki Miyake A prostitute named Kikuko recalls the day she was sold to this town and the bus driver Arigatosan who drove her there.

3. "Japanese Anna" (日本人アンナ) - directed by Takushi Tsubokawa A man gets his wallet stolen by a young Russian girl. He rents the room next to her and becomes mesmerized by peeping into her room.

4. "Immortality" (高橋雄弥) - dircted by Yuya Takahashi An old man remembers his teenage years sitting under the tree that his girlfriend committed suicide under.
