The famous Chinese tragic legend of Chang Er, or “Moon Fairy” is told in this hauntingly beautiful miniseries. When the Goddess Queen Mother of the West insists that her daughter Luo marries the coarse and vulgar immortal He Bo, Luo flees to the mortal world. Where she meets Hou Yi and falls in love. However, Chang Er, another goddess living in the mortal world, also has the hearts for Hou. Enraged by this love triangle, the Queen Mother decides to show that the immortals are stronger and more powerful by having ten suns in the sky all at once. It is now up to Chang Er and Luo Shen to save mankind and to Persuade Hou Yi to join them in the immortal world.
