Fujishima Ryo, who aims to be an Italian chef, gets cheated by a bad guy and ends up in a lot of debt. She arrives at Makanai-sou, as a cook at the invitation of her elder sister, Kyoko to live together for the first time in 15 years. A 60-year-old boarding house with a communal bath in Nagoya, Makanai-sou is a place where meals are inclusive for all the residents.
