Prarng is the eldest daughter of a Yigké dancer. She has a sister and a brother and she hopes that someday she could also dance Yigké like her mother. The family is poor, making their living on Yigké dance and on washing neighbors' clothes. Saroot is a producer for a music video company and is also engaged to the daughter of the company's owner.
