Yong Pil forms a music group called "Funny Kit" with his friend Dong Hyub. They meet Hye Ryun and she becomes their sponsor. Hye Ryun recognizes Yong Pil's talent and they soon fall in love. Yong Pil overcomes many difficult times and gets to record a song on another singer's album. But Hye Ryun's terminal heart condition becomes worse. She buys a great number of the record and begins to distribute them to cafe disc jockeys and asks them to play the song. Yong Pil becomes a top star but Hye Ryun diappears.
