The movie was made to introduce Korea with its unique culture and history of 5,000 years. It consists of a prologue, four sections, and an epilogue, The prologue looks closely at the beautiful landscape of Korea. Section 1 introduces the Buddhist culture of Korea, and Section 2 is about Admiral Yi Sun Shin, the historic war hero of Korea. Section 3 is the tale of Chun Hyang, which was written during the reign of King Suk Jong (1674-1720) of the Joseon Dynasty. It depicts her faithful love and her lover, Yi Mong Ryong's consistent love. Section 4 is about the Korean War's tragic scenes, struggles for freedom, and the international alliance.
