Anawat aka Chai, the only son of Yarmjid and Tienchai, is returning home after studying abroad. Yarmjid is distressed looking for a new cook since the previous one ran away because of debts. Nangsri wanted to bring her daughter, Sroi, to work; but Sroi had already married and moved away. So, in her place, Nangsiri brings Porphai to pretend to be Sroi and take over the position of cook.
