The president of a food company whose product has caused a food poisoning uproar and the president of a tour company whose bus had an accident are killed, and with them the culprits of the murders commit suicide. It looks as if the cases are finished with the suspects' suicide, but the 9-gakari team, led by Rintaro, discover strange similarities between the two cases.
