Igarashi Hajime, an orchestra conductor, lately has frequent illusions of a young girl. Meanwhile, he learns through a letter that he had in fact a daughter, Aki. When Hajime rushes back to his hometown, he finds that not only did Aki commit suicide, but that she did it just after meeting her father. Aki had once anonymously played the violin for Hajime. Hajime realizes that the girl of his visions had been Aki! With his mind racing with questions, Hajime hopes to discover the truth and to make peace with himself. --NHK
