With only 3 month left to live, terminally ill Nagisa leaves her father and goes to a seaside town where her first love, Ishikawa Satoshi, currently lives. She doesn't tell him about her illness, though, lying instead that she just went on a trip, and stays at his house. Nagisa's feelings for Satoshi grow stronger as she spends time with him, but it turns out that Satoshi was having an affair with a married woman, Eriko. And one day Nagisa lures out Eriko's daughter Madoka on a whim.
