‘내 슬픔을 등에 지고 가는 자...’ 인디언 속담으로 ‘친구’를 뜻하는 말이다. 당신의 슬픔을 반이라도 나눠 질 친구가 있는가? 가장 소중한 친구에게 인생의 마지막 순간을 내려놓는 한 남자가 있다. 가랑비처럼 소리 없이 젖어드는 슬픔도 소나기처럼 한 순간에 흠뻑 젖는 고통도 하나 밖에 없는 친구, 그 놈이기에 대신 받아들이는 또 한 남자가 있다. 어느 순간 서로에게 총구를 겨누게 된 두 사람. 죽음 앞에서도, 죽음 후에도... 함께일 수밖에 없는 그들... 진실마저 묻어버린 두 남자의 눈물에 대해 이야기하려 한다.
