When Fujio (Shota Sometani), Yoshio (Yoichiro Saito) and Akiko (Yuri Nakamura) were children, they saw a fantastic "Ryoumou Deer," but nobody believed them. The three siblings lived in a mountain village.
Twenty five years later, eldest child Fujio, still living in the same village, runs a family factory business, but is in serious debt. The middle child, Yoshio (Yoichiro Saito), is residing within the psychiatric ward of a hospital. The youngest child, Akiko, now lives in Tokyo. She fell in love with a man and ran away there. Yoshio and Akiko hear that their father is in serious condition and they come back to their hometown for the first time in 10 years.
